Rewards of Volunteering And we always need volunteers, no matter what your background or skills. If you are interested in volunteering and none of the opportunities posted here catch your fancy, call Karen or Claire at (847) 448-8256. We'll see what we can find for you to do. Charlotte Omohundro is also working hard in her Michigan home to grow, gather and dry many of the lovely flowers for the Festival. she has engineered this event for 25 years! Thank you Charlotte! Thanks also to the Senior Studies and Biology Honors Interns. These young people from Evanston Township High School volunteer time at the Ecology Center as part of special curriculum requirements. Senior Studies students come at specific times for several months and Interns sign-up to work at programs, events and break-camps to experience what a career in environmental studies and education might be like. They are a valuable and much appreciated group of young people! Class/Program
